Whale Watching is the reason a lot of people come to the west coast. There are many charter companies in Tofino and Ucluelet, and prices seem quite similar.

Shop around for a company that has the kind of boat you want to go in, be it a wild ride in a zodiac or a more relaxed adventure in a larger boat.

Also, if you are interested in learning a little about the whales you will see, ask about the guides background and whether or not there will be any interpretation on your trip or if it will be just a boat ride.
