Well lets start with how to pronounce Ucluelet, I know it took me a while to start saying it right - 'you-CLUE-let'. The slogan for Ucluelet is 'Life On the Edge' and it suits the town not only because of its geographic location.
Ucluelet is a hub for eco-tourists eager to:
go kayaking in the Broken Group Islands,
go storm watching in the winter months,
explore the beaches and rocky coastline,
go fishing for 'the big one',
and hike the new Wild Pacific Trail.
